Jan has been a Salem resident since 1969. After a career spanning 18 years as a Financial Services Account Officer with US Bank I decided in 1994 to make the move into Real Estate. What a wonderful move that was! I've always been an entrepreneur at heart and this has allowed me to use my Customer Service, Sales and Financial abilities in a field I truly love. I so enjoy helping clients reach their Real Estate goals.
I started my Real Estate career with Prudential Real Estate Professionals. While there I acheived Rookie of the Year my 1st year and ended in the Chairman's Circle (the top 4% of Prudential Agents nationwide), I also studied and became a Principal Broker, Gradudate of the Realtors Insitiute and an Accredited Buyers Specialist. I also started establishing the "Team Concept" as I always wanted my clients to be taken care of. I felt I was growing so fast and getting so busy I really needed support so now I have a wonderful team that works with me so that I'm always able to meet my clients needs. In 2004 after 10 great years with Prudential I moved my team over to RE/MAX equity group inc. one of the largest RE/MAX's in the world!! In 2005 After I moved to RE/MAX I went on to acheive more accreditations including, Certified Residential Specialist, Certified Luxury Home Marketing Specialist & also e-Pro.
In 2005 The Melsha Team closed nearly 27 million in business. We were ranked #4 in residential sales for the Willamette Valley. I was a member of the Platnum Club and also team members of the Chairman's Club. My team was #8 for the State of Oregon. We are so excited to be with RE/MAX the exposure has been wonderful we get referrals from all over the world which has brought wonderful results for our clients as well as the team. I have lived in the Willamette Valley all my life. Prior to my Real Estate career I worked eight years in the construction field as a utility locator, in this capacity, I worked all over the Mid-Willamette Valley. This has given me a great deal of knowledge of the area, especially in Yamhill county. I have always strived to provide an excellent level of customer service. I take great pride in doing all tasks and completing all tasks that I undertake including finding you the very best property to meet your needs.
